So yesterday was two months into this insanity I signed up for!!! Twenty more days from today and...... I can eat whatever I want!! Amy and I have talked everything from Mexican, to Girl Scout Cookies, to Chocolate cake. I have dreamed about cheese dip, grilled cheese sandwiches, and peanut butter. I had a weigh in on Friday and I am down a total of 16 pounds and my body fat percentage had dropped by about 8%. The diet doesn't seem to bother me to bad except for on Sundays. I'm not sure why maybe because we are so busy during the week I don't notice it but on Sundays when we are usually around the house it gets tough. Sunday is one of my days for low calories and carbs so I get a little less food and I think this makes it hard to. I shouldn't complain though because Amy's diet got cut on Monday since she is 3 weeks out from competition. I can honestly say that I am glad I did this. I still have times when I get ill and cranky and just want to say the hell with it but it seems to fade quickly and isn't happening as frequently. I really enjoy the weight training but I am ready for a little break - even if it is just a small one. I feel like I live in scrubs and workout clothes! We have been going to church with our neighbors that live across the street and I get so excited to actually dress up! So my plan going forward is to try and maintain when I get to my goal which I am not very far from. I may even continue to train through the month of May but on more of a maintenance plan instead of the strict diet we have been on- so there will be a little wiggle room in my diet. I know that the majority of my diet will have to remain "clean" to be able to maintain all of my hard work but it will be nice to know that if we want to go to dinner we can. So here is my back at this point, maybe before the end I'll get a leg shot up!
